The Tasting Session

For those who want to explore the incredible world of single-origin chocolates.

  • We kick-start the session with an indulgent chocolate truffle each, as Zara introduces herself and we start the tasting session.

  • Whilst learning to pick out the different tastes and aromas from our single-origin samples, we will also bring elements of chocolate's history and production into the session, to help explain different nuances and traditions within the world of chocolate.

  • We then run a blind tasting activity to put your newly acquired knowledge to the test in identifying the origins of the chocolate samples.

  • This session includes 6 different single origin chocolate samples to taste and compare throughout the session. We provide a plentiful mixture of milk and dark samples as standard. Can be altered on request.

  • We can also arrange extra truffles to enjoy with the session, which are priced at an extra £1.20 per piece. Please let us know when booking if you would like to add more of these.

  • £22/head

The small print:

  • Average duration 1-1.5 hours

  • Minimum group size of 10 participants

  • You can book a tasting session for less than 10 ppl, but the cost for 10 will need to be covered

Larger Group Talks and Tastings

Are you looking for an exciting event for your club, group, school, business to host?

Why not try one of our group tasting events, perfect for any size of group. The description below shows an example tasting, but this can be tailored to suit different timescales and budgets:

  • We start with a short history of cacao and chocolate, and how it became what we know as chocolate today.

  • Zara will teach you how best to taste chocolate, and how different beans from around the world can create such different products, with some samples to compare and contrast from a variety of different countries.

  • Following this, you will be guided through a brief process of chocolate making, outlining the steps taken to create beautiful and delicious chocolates, and our part in the process.

  • We don't tend to work with a powerpoint presentation format, but will bring along some example items to show; and we encourage guests to come and chat and take a further look at the end of the session.

Our talks and tasting events are currently on hold until Spring 2025
